This was not due to high pressure sales tactics but more so from listening to customer needs and treating everyone he met with like they mattered. From there Jason took a position with Covenant Cemetery Services as an assistant manager helping run and develop multiple cemetery locations. Shortly after seeing success within the organization, he took an Area Director position with the company and ran three cemeteries that had been unstaffed and grew all three locations by staffing and training sales counselors, being active in those communities, and treating those families with loved ones at the cemeteries who rarely received return phone calls prior to, with the respect and dignity they deserved. After four and a half years with Covenant Cemetery Services, it was time to take the knowledge and skill set elsewhere and so Midland Monuments was formed.

Our other Co-Owner, Justin Weigandt, is no stranger to this industry as well. Justin’s Great Grandfather, James F. Arnold, was a co-owner of Wilbert Vault Company which was started almost 100 years ago. Justin has owned a number of successful businesses but when he was approached with the idea of forming Midland Monuments, he knew this was his calling to make his mark on the industry and to help serve families during their time of need. Together, Jason and Justin plan to grow Midland Monuments to be the number one granite memorialization choice for families all throughout Michigan by achieving three key components they strive to exemplify…the best product, the best price, and the best service.
